Kinect + the Brain April 2011
For 'Brain Hacking' studio led by Toru Hasegawa and Mark Collins. This study focused on matching up EEG brain readings with physical movement. The Emotiv EEG device was used to record brain activity while a Microsoft Kinect was simultaneously recording the realtime 3d motion of the test subject.
While not truly scientific, a cursory observation of the results reveals that the more active subject [particularly the orange figure, second scalp map down] has more color variations than the others.
Generated in Processing using the Emotive and Kinect.
