Tower Destroyer II May 2011
For 'Brain Hacking' studio led by Toru Hasegawa and Mark Collins. This installation was part of the final show for the studio. As a live interactive demonstration for the public, it allowed participants to engage in a simple game using only their brains.
Using the ThinkGear platform [a simple one sensor EEG device] and its proprietary calculations of 'Attention' and 'Meditation,' Tower Destroyer II focused on the the ability of the subject to concentrate.
The objective of the game was to knock blocks to the opponent's half of the screen using the pre-aimed ball objects. As the subject increased his attention level the balls would increase in number as well as velocity.
Generated with Processing, Box2d, and the ThinkGear.
